So you're interested in Starsand? Lucky for you, the game just had a soft reset. Now is a good time for new characters to join in and enjoy the plot.
Starsand is an invite-only game, but for the months of April and May, anyone from a player's Plurk list may join. You can claim that free invite over here. If you're still unsure about hopping in, please consider using our current TDM to test the waters!
If you're posting here to be enabled: Please put your character's name and canon in the thread title. It helps to tell everyone what kinds of plotlines interest you, what your triggers are, and what kind of CR you're hoping for. Starsand has the option of players gaining superpowers or befriending spirit friends down the road. Nerfing in minimal. The current main plotline currently has crosshairs on characters who embody the concepts of Light, Dark, Nothing, and Rumors.
If you are looking to enable others: Please put your canon title or what you're looking for! "Bandmates," "fellow idols," "edgelords," etc. Indicate if you're a new or older player and what kind of CR you're offering as well!

Sawyer Sinclair | OC
Sawyer is an energetic enby idol OC who is also a traveling witch in training. They're a bit self centered and getting over their entitlement (they were born into a super rich family), but they're mostly friendly.
Sawyer will probs make a spirit contract at some point, especially when they realize how serious everything is, and how low level the magic they actually know is. Because they will 100% not take things seriously at 1st...

Mitsuki Aoki | OC
Mitsuki is a smart n sassy enby idol OC that is also a Magical "Girl" by night under the codename Siren. They are used to the whole saving people thing, but are less used to the making friends thing. They try, but they do struggle so much to come across as normal. They also like robots.
Looking for like friends? and maybe some negative cr? and I think some kind of burn out plot line where they try to take on too much at once, would be in line for them
also they are mermaid themed, so any plot line where we can reference that
Elise | Fire Emblem Fates
A kind healer princess character who just wants peace. She's super friendly and outgoing despite all the darkness and violence of her home. I wanna do a plot line where she realizes that she's competent on her own and like does some leading/strategizing

Xerxes Break | Pandora Hearts
A clown.
He's kind of a loner who doesn't want to waste this 2nd chance, but also doesn't know how to take advantage of it. He has destruction powers, so that could be a good way into the plot.
tbh even though he's an asshole and a clown, I'd like him to have CR who will help him figure out how to live life, and not just...survive and exist in the service of others

I've been absolutely dying for a Kyon to bounce off of from either side, and will accept just about anyone from the OG universe. Which yes, also includes the "original" Ryoko Asakura to makes things that much more messy. If you're interested in playing someone from the Disappearance side, let me know and I can hook you up with icons!
I'd also like to throw out a notice/appeal! Ryoko and Taiga are from a Puella Magi Madoka Magica based game, and they know three of the quintet: Madoka, Kyoko, and Sayaka. Again, any of them would be great, Ryoko'd just be slightly nervous around them (ESPECIALLY Kyoko), but I can also play it that she 100% doesn't know them. Or, is pretending to anyway.

Ukyo Kuonji | Ranma ½
From the same person who brought you that oden obsessed girl above, I present to you, okonomiyaki obsessed girl.
Ukyo here is one of Ranma Saotome's many, many fiancees! She's the mythical childhood friend type, resentful of Ranma at first for him and his dad running off with her family's okonomiyaki cart, but eventually won over by being reminded of how cute she is. Naturally, she's kinda dangerous and wields a giant spatula, and other assorted okonomiyaki-based fighting attacks.
She's also devoted to her honey, has a businesswoman's sense, and is willing to cook both in battle and on a hot grill. She can also throw together a pretty good scheme if need be, all things considered.
Friends! Enemies! Business partners! Maybe a new love story can be born? Who knows, the sky's the limit with Okonomiyaki Ucchan!
HONKAI IMPACT 3RD
Allow me to preface this with a personal anecdote:
When I first dropped Mei in here, I genuinely didn't know how well she would fit in. As I got more and more of the lore, though, especially through choice interactions with characters integral to Starsand's plot, I realized -- this place was a disgustingly good fit for characters from this all-star roster.
What I'm saying is, send your Honkai 3rd peeps here! I am very much hoping to get either a Bronya from the same rough canonpoint, or even a Kiana. (Please let her have Kiana back from the moon even for a bit...)
I love this game and everyone fighting for all that's beautiful in the world. And I hope we can spread that love to Starsand!
Tsukino Usagi | Sailor Moon
My second 'hair of gold, heart of gold' character, Usagi is the most optimistic person you know. She's taken from the end of the manga, and she's here to help. She's loving and caring and just wants all of you to be happy. She's going to want to heal as much as she can, and if she can help fix things, she will.

Ichika Hoshino | Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage
Ichika is the initial 'mascot character' for Project SEKAI; basically, she was the one that they were marketing as the "main protagonist", as she was the first character revealed and the character you'd first see on the home menu screen until they updated it to include all the group leaders.
She's a huge fan of Hatsune Miku and is the lead vocalist and guitarist of a band called Leo/need; and while I refer to Ichika as a protagonist, she's less "high energy shonen protagonists" and more "soft spoken, emotional, caring shoujo protagonist" that wants to connect others through music.
Given, as I've said above, I'm not 100% sure about playing her here yet, as I haven't voice tested her and gone through all her relevant card stories and event stories... Encouragement and ideas would be nice?
CR-wise, outside of her fellow castmates, I'd definitely love for her to learn from others various things that could help Starsand; her focus will obviously be music with her group, but I'd want her to be able to branch outside of that as well! I think it'd be fun.
