Maybe in another life we could've had CR

We love the characters we've got, but many of us have mentioned characters we considered btinging to our happy little aesthetic town full of love, mystery, and existential dread. Share them here and talk among yourselves! What made you consider them? What prompted you to shelve them? Is there anyone another player posted whom you'd really like to see? What would you have liked to do? Discuss it here!

Jisu's characters...?
Canon Point: i mean she'd be a native oc but
What's Their Deal?: A character I've put in a bunch of verses from back when she and Satou and a bunch of others were Cardcaptor Sakura OCs. Most versions of Touka have a few things in common: she's talented in magic and from a magical family if those exist in the setting; the others get her out of a bad situation (anything from "betrothed to a total loser" to "being raised as a mana battery and scapegoat for the other kids getting sick around her") and she immediately gets attached; she is very bi and has zero luck with romance; she uses a staff that turns into a sword; and she has an aesthetic and only wears blue.
All I really got into with for this Touka in the old Discord back when I was considering her was that 1) she would've been an adult like her friends, a sensible mentor type who has gotten past most of her issues; 2) the sword stays; and 3) she has LONG since gotten over the hopeless crush on Satou that plagues most versions of Touka and looks back on this with old shame and cringe.
Why Not?: Icons. I do have an old journal for Game of Fate Touka at
Character Name/Canon: Alice Smith Sonezaki (Twitch Plays Pokémon)
Canon Point: After Randomized Chatty Crystal at least, so the timelines would be fixed
What's Their Deal?: Hey, did you know TPP was more than just the first run? That it's passed 70 runs and is still going? Did you know they've branched into all sorts of game mods, and the first drastic mod was a basic randomized hack of Fire Red that the lore turned into a trip back in time where the at-the-time biggest villain around had warped the world into a chaotic mess threatening to collapse in on itself just to switch our original protagonist with said villain's dead backstory daughter? Well, now you know.
Alice is that dead backstory daughter, brought back via the dangerous Randomizer into a world of chaos, and after being chosen by the Voices with the help of their previous host, she sets out to study the new state of the world, learn how things are supposed to be, revive the god of order (yes, the Dome Fossil isn't evil, just the order to Helix's chaos), and face her dad. She doesn't end up being the one to stop him, but puts in a lot of the work, and afterwards she hangs around with the other hosts, being the resident scientist with a sad backstory.
Why Not?: I ended up putting her in a single-fandom dressing room instead and she's done really well there.
Character Name/Canon: Ayazuki Mei (Meiji Tokyo Renka)
Canon Point: usually I take her from the TV anime before she makes her decision
What's Their Deal?: Shunned since she was five for being able to see and interact with spirits, Mei shut the world out until a busybody magician (implied to be a kitsune and also literally just historical magician Shoukyokusai Tenichi) sends her back to the 1880s without her memories. She grows as a person, learns to be happy and make friends, and becomes an oblivious harem protagonist.
Also I have a murdergame CRAU where she became a mage knight apprenticed to multiple Fire Emblems, befriended a giant carnivorous plant, became the morality pet for a bunch of jerks, and inherited way too many animals.
Why Not?: tbh I just got her on the brain ever since we got Honkai's Mei and I keep being pinged by seeing that name in the chat, that is probably not a good reason to app anyone
Character Name/Canon: Mori Mari (OC)
Canon Point: laughs in vague epilogue
What's Their Deal?: Murdergame epilogue child of the above! Does not take after her sweet, selfless, and naive mother whatsoever, attaching more to her capricious noble dad, and is best known for loafing off in class, writing inappropriate romances, eating loads of snacks, having very exacting standards, and never cleaning up after herself. She's a brat. Also considered was her goth sister Annu, who threatens bullies creatively with school supplies and had to get special permission to take the dark magic course at the interdimensional magic school Mei's shady assassin mentor founded after the game.
Why Not?: If there's a kind of OC you can't really app anywhere, it's someone who's a canon OC and based on a CRAU of the character you did play and loosely adapted from an actual historical figure because that's the kind of canon Meikoi is.
I think that's everyone? Maybe not, I probably have other considerations I forgot.
Taka's stuff
Himeko
Canon Point: After Everlasting Flames
What's Their Deal?: A teacher at St. Freya, and quite possibly the longest lingering element in a story after certain spoilery things happen. Himeko is a drunkard, and a party hard kind of woman; she also happens to be a teacher who aspired to be something else, but pivoted and went on with her life as a Valkyrie, albeit with Artificial Stigmata. This did not go well for her health, but she manages anyway.
Why Not?: Mei kind of already fills her specific niche at the moment, even if there are things unique to Himeko that would be interesting to play out. Not to mention, I think I'd much rather have a Himeko to play off of than hog the Honkai fun.
